When Breanna Lockwood’s first child, a girl, is born in November, Lockwood and her mom, Julie Loving, plan to tell the girl that she was “wanted so much that we did everything we could to bring you into the world.”

The newborn will be the biological child of Lockwood and her husband, Aaron, but she is being carried in pregnancy by Loving, who is serving as the gestational surrogate for her daughter.

“I feel like my mom is the closest place to home she can be rather than my own body,” Lockwood, 29, of Illinois, told “Good Morning America.” “My mom wants to be a grandma just as much as I want to be a mom so she’s doing everything she can.”

A very generous 49-year-old mum wants to help her 31-year-old daughter have a baby, and has agreed to be a surrogate for her grandchild-to-be.

Sherrie Zammit gave daughter Chloe the gift of life – now, history is about to repeat itself for the next generation.
“My days, I thought, were done and dusted with pregnancies, and never did I expect to be carrying my grandchild, but I’m really excited,” Sherrie said.

Micaela Johnson says she and her mother, Sheila Gump, already function more like best friends than mother and daughter, but the two will soon share an even stronger bond.

Gump is set to deliver Johnson’s twins — her grandchildren — as her surrogate this summer. It’s a gift Johnson says no one else could give her.
