Center For Surrogate Parenting Having Your Baby Through Egg Donation Looking To Be A Mom Thru Egg Donation Surrogate Mothers Needed |
We at Intended Parents, Inc. have a unique perspective on the gestational surrogacy experience. We are intended parents ourselves, and so our guidelines for surrogate mothers are quite strict. We know that what's needed is more than just a healthy body--intended parents need a surrogate mother who is emotionally stable as well. We have created an atmosphere that attracts the very best surrogate mothers. When we place ads for surrogate mothers, we let them know up front that we can only accept women between the ages of 21 and 38. Because intended parents make a financial investment (not to mention an emotional one) in the process before pregnancy even takes place, we only accept surrogate mothers who have delivered at least one healthy baby prior to working with us. We remember from our own experience that we needed some kind of proof that our surrogate would be able to deliver a healthy baby for us. Beware Unscrupulous Ads for Surrogate Mothers Needed We warn both surrogate mothers and intended parents against certain types of "surrogate mothers needed" ads. If an agency claims to pay astronomical fees for surrogate mothers with certain physical gifts, you can assume they are probably not a reputable surrogacy agency. Agencies that actually care about intended parents and surrogate mothers are looking for healthy individuals who are emotionally capable of carrying someone else's child. Gestational surrogacy takes some of the emotional complications out of the surrogate motherhood process. By carrying a child that is not biologically hers, a gestational surrogate is free to focus on the help she is providing intended parents, rather than the baby she is "giving up."
