Center For Surrogate Parenting Gestational Surrogate Having Your Baby Through Egg Donation |
A gestational surrogate mother differs from a traditional surrogate mother in one very important way: she bears no genetic link to the baby or babies she carries. This form of surrogacy has benefits for both the intended parents and the gestational surrogate mother. It gives the intended parents the opportunity to have a baby that is genetically linked to one or both of them, and it can simplify some of the emotional aspects of the process for the gestational surrogate mother. At Intended Parents, Inc., we facilitate all aspects of the gestational surrogacy process, from explaining it in detail to coordinating all medical and legal appointments and contracts. Some gestational surrogate programs are law firms that have incorporated surrogacy as a means of taking on additional cases. At Intended Parents, Inc., we are intended parents ourselves. Our primary goal is to provide support for other intended parents. The Ideal Candidate for Working with a Gestational Surrogate Mother Some women are capable of producing healthy eggs but are not able to become pregnant, or if they can become pregnant, they cannot carry the baby to term. These are ideal candidates for gestational surrogate programs. In these situations, it is possible for the surrogate mother to carry a baby that is genetically related to both of the intended parents. Even if the intended mother cannot produce healthy eggs, the gestational surrogate can still carry a baby that is genetically related to the intended father. In either case, the fertilization process takes place in-vitro. For more information about our program, please call us at 732-526-7013, or click here to send us an email |
