We are not an egg donor agency, although we do accept applications from potential egg donors. One of the main differences between Intended Parents, Inc. and regular egg donor agencies is that we provide a comprehensive donor program, whereas regular agencies may not.

Regular egg donor agencies (also known as "egg brokers") will often place advertisements offering tantalizing fees for the right donor or donors. Problems arise when these agencies do not follow through with coordinating medical visits, conducting initial and follow-up screenings, and matching the donor with a surrogate or intended parent. At Intended Parents, Inc., we make all the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and professional egg donation process.

Be Wary of Disreputable Egg Donor Agencies

Although most egg donor agencies are reputable and well-intentioned, some are not. We advise women to be very cautious when answering ads from agencies with overly specific requirements. These ads usually come in the form of a claim that the agency represents a couple who is willing to pay very lucrative fees for an egg donor with the right genetic qualities.

Often times no such couple exists and the agency is simply trolling for ultra-attractive or athletic candidates whom they can then use to entice potential intended parents. Of course, any good donor program will have health and age criteria for its donors, but most are not looking to "buy" eggs from any particular type of woman.
